Well, first you need to establish if this person is even open to seeing you. I don't mean she'll have a problem with you personally, but if she has endured something awful then she may not want to see anyone at all. Sometimes all you want is time alone to process everything.
But if she's not that sort, then think deeply about what you know about her. Does she have a favourite food? If she's trying to process trauma then she'll likely not be in the mood to cook. Can you make that for her, or at least bring it to her? Don't make it any random dish, regardless of whether it is nutritious or not. Show that you know her well enough to bring her her favourite.
